I am fresh back from New York where I got to observe line culture, the $60 sourdough and run clubs in real life, it was as dark as expected. That said I had a great time talking to a room full of scaling brands at Tatari Forward about modern social media, the testing ground of meta ads and organic content, and brand storytelling in an era where monoculture and big ad campaigns are more accessible than ever.
This week I am off to SF to discuss organic social and meta ads strategy in tech at Motion’s Chief Marketer, the following week will be Adobe Max in Miami, and I will also now be speaking in Atlanta in early December, info soon!
This week, I finally organized every factory business card and contact I have, and it’s yours free for November, courtesy of Lovable. My latest Youtube gets into the creative direction of Dior, and we have made cheat sheets to help everyone understand how to be great at Meta Ads in 2026.
Let’s begin.
Supplier Vault
I’ve been posting a lot of content from my latest travels in China, where I’m not just looking to find cool suppliers or materials for brands. I’ve also been undertaking some personal projects, like redoing our studio with custom furniture and even developing a few new interior products of my own.
Over time I’ve made at least 100 videos of factories and sourcing shows across the world, from Italy to France to China, and I’ve collected hundreds of business cards and hunted down more and more for R&D projects with clients.
Last week I sat down, took pictures of everything, and put together a complete vault for anything I’ve ever found, anyone has ever asked for, that has shown up in research. I put it into Lovable to create an easily organized searchable database with all the information and also a tool that connects to my sourcing Grok Bot that taps into all the subscriptions I’m a member of to find you additional information if you need something that’s not there.
If you’re here from my furniture content search “Foshan” and you’ll see a “foshan custom furniture” content. Most of these suppliers that often offer single custom units and can help you fill up partial or full containers of their products or your own designs that are great to outfit new homes, offices, stores etc.
Thanks to Lovable this is now available for free for the next few weeks and you can tap into the full website here. If you are looking to build a directory of your own to put on the website, curate your pics as a creator, organize your design references, or even code internal tools, Lovable made it super easy. You can learn more about how to do it here.
If you’re new to product sourcing or have never done anything like that before, a reminder that Landforce and I have a program with 40 modules of sourcing details and the ability to ask us questions on your process, plus databases of freelancers and factories to help available to buy here.
The Dior Creative Direction Playbook
In this week’s video we dive into the world of Dior, one I am personally passionate about and interested in and know lots of lore around. They’ve always been a fascinating one for me because of how early they were on trends around streetwear and their very intertwined relationship with pop culture (that you see from everything from the Kim Jones hypebeast art era to Dior x A24, with Jonathan Anderson and Sabrina Carpenter here today). Their use of other IP, like we’ve seen with the new bag releases, helps cement their brand’s place in culture.
It’s a fascinating brand strategy that I think is something that every creative director and strategist can take from. I break down my favorite takeaways and some unexpected angles on everything from webinars to taking inspiration from runway shows to lore objects.
You can watch this week’s video here.
Meta Ads 101
And last, some cheat sheets for putting together Meta ads. It’s a question I get asked a lot, which I covered in depth in the marketing.zip course I released a few weeks ago. You can view the in-depth video here, it starts at this timestamp for the Meta portion and these cheat sheets are great to save.
Until next week,
Oren
